D'Arcy Demoe is the proud owner of Harvest Chef Society; a collection of Chefs located to Whistler from different parts of Canada that are inspired by our surroundings.  We love to incorporate the local setting and our personal stories into what we create for you on your special day or event.   

 

D'Arcy believes in the power of community and proudly partners with farmers, grocers and other chefs and businesses in Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton.

My Story

D'Arcy Demoe started his culinary adventure at a Caribbean-inspired restaurant in Durham, just outside of Toronto, Ontario. With an addiction to the fast-paced restaurant industry, D'Arcy took his talents to Whistler where he worked at various kitchens.  After returning to Toronto to study at George Brown College, he helped open Trios Bistro under the influence of  Chef Morgan Wilson and Chef Rendall Mercer. In 2011 D'Arcy and his family moved back to Whistler and with the inspiration of the mountains worked as Head Chef of Steeps on Whistler mountain. Looking to put a more personal and creative spin on his food, D'Arcy took his many years of experience and started Harvest Catering & Harvest Chef Society.

Harvest Chef Society is a collection of Whistler-based personal chefs, caterers and nutritional coaches who partner with local farmers and producers to serve the best tasting meals. Whether you're looking for personal chef services, to host a private event or for meal planning and preparation, we've got you covered.

Félix Breault, Chef & Owner

Originally from Montreal, Félix started cooking in small bistros in downtown. He studied business management, and after working in an office for a summer, he sitting for the entire wasn't for him. Shortly after, he moved to Whistler and met D’Arcy working at the Roundhouse Lodge.

 

He worked in the catering industry under chef Steve Bjomark. Completed his red seal while working in many different kitchens. Got a head chef position at the Squamish Lilwaat cultural center and realized after 2 years he needed a changed so he teamed up with his long-term friend D’Arcy, in 2022.

 

Felix is calm under pressure and loves to be part of people’s celebrations.
